Who We Are
We’re a husband and wife team, Chris is the chef and mastermind behind food, and Beckie is the face you will likely see delivering to you or greeting you at the front door. It really is just the two of us, with our two ovens making this all happen, and we are absolutely loving delivering you all fresh yummy food.
Crazily we started during the COVID-19 lockdown to try and serve food to lift people’s spirits and give the cooks in the home a break during a difficult time. Within weeks of launching, following an amazing response from the local community, this has now become Chris’s full-time job!
Starting as a self-taught hobby chef Chris made the huge leap from recruitment consultant to professional chef to follow his true passion, and has worked in some of Berkshire’s best restaurants, including The Fat Duck in Bray and The Beehive in White Waltham. He has always wanted his own operation, something away from the typical restaurant culture, and the strange situation offered by this pandemic has created the perfect opportunity; moment seized and here we are!
His love of locally sourced produce sings through in the Roast menu with all our food sourced from local businesses, to ensure the level of quality we deliver you is nothing but the absolute best.
